MacKenna Perry, Ph.D.

Senior Research Manager

Dr. MacKenna Perry is a senior research manager at Pacific Research and Evaluation. She holds a doctorate from Portland State University, where she specialized in industrial-organizational psychology and occupational health psychology and received advanced training in research methodology, data analytics, and statistics. MacKenna is passionate about the experiences of workers and leaders in organizations, and her work often focuses on supporting organizations in making data-informed decisions that increase organizational effectiveness and improve organizational, employee, and community outcomes. Dr. Perry’s experience spans a broad range of government agencies, community-based organizations, and industry clients. During her time working with Pacific Research and Evaluation, she has worked with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Oregon Department of Education, Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission, South Carolina First Steps, and more. Previous experiences include work with Liberty Mutual, the Arizona Department of Transportation, Western Washington University’s Salish Sea Institute, the U.S. Forest Service, and Marion County, Oregon, as well as more than 100 other public and private sector organizations across the Pacific Northwest and nationwide. In all her work, Dr. Perry is enthusiastic about thoughtfully engaging diverse stakeholders and finding creative, intuitive ways to communicate project work and findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
