Samantha Lacey, M.S.

Research Associate 1

Samantha Lacey is a Research Associate 1 at Pacific Research and Evaluation. She will graduate with her PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in fall 2023 from the University of Connecticut, where she also earned her master’s degree and certificates in Quantitative Research Methods and Occupational Health Psychology. She specializes in topics related to workplace culture and worker well-being and applies her extensive training and six years of experience developing, analyzing and translating the results of complex research and program evaluation projects for diverse audiences, including executives and HR leaders. She has a knack and passion for bringing data to life and making science accessible by contextualizing results and providing recommendations that motivate and equip leaders to take action. Her experience ranges from supporting the Short Line Safety Institute in their efforts to improve safety and safety culture, to collaborating with a team of multidisciplinary researchers on a grant-funded, longitudinal research project aimed at improving the physical health and well-being of aging manufacturing workers in the state of Connecticut. Since joining PRE, she has supported work with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to evaluate their knowledge management program and is passionate about supporting change and making long-lasting impacts in the communities, teams, and organizations that she works with here at PRE.​
